Reflection

Traveling to Guangzhou was a dynamic and enriching experience. As one of China’s largest and most modern cities, it buzzes with energy, yet still preserves its deep Cantonese roots. The food scene was unforgettable—dim sum in bustling teahouses, silky rice noodles, and sweet egg tarts made every meal feel like a cultural discovery. Highlights included a peaceful visit to Yuexiu Park, views from Canton Tower, and strolling along the scenic Pearl River at night. Despite its rapid development, Guangzhou manages to blend tradition with innovation, offering travelers a rich mix of history, cuisine, and cosmopolitan charm. What stood out most was the warmth of the locals and the seamless blend of old neighborhoods with sleek skyscrapers, making Guangzhou feel both rooted and forward-looking.
